Hi Frank, I've also signed up for it. I did it last year as well. Its a well organised race. Fast bike, mostly along dual carriageways and an undulating cross-country run. A good way to end the season!! Cheers James

I'd love to come along but may have something else on, will confirm on saturday afternoon. Thanks! Sarah

Hi Claire, I'm hoping to be able to make it if I'm back in London tomorrow. Cheers Frank

Hi there, It sounds like their novice race is a super sprint, ie half the distance of the race you did last weekend. Their main race is not much longer than a standard Sprint; the cycling part is 5 km longer and the run is 1km longer than a Sprint.…

I'm off at 8:45am, should be there from 8ish. Looking forward to my final race of the season, could be a slow one! Will look out for fellow windrushers and cheer you on....I'll be by the bbq pit post race

Hi Claire Sound's great although unfortunately I cannot make this Sunday. I'd be up for the following weekend though. Interestingly, what route do you take to Box Hill? It would be great if everyone started to post more route maps on the site for m…

Harriet and I are also in the 9am start (i think). Not sure when/how we're getting there yet - will probably go up the night before. We have to get straight back to London afterwards, but would definitely be good to hook up before the race.

Hi Guys,   I think quite a few of us are going to the Reading Tri on the 12th, so I thought it would be a good idea for us to say who is going here.  It would be nice to give each other some support at the event (especially since maybe not all of us…

Hello, I'm planning to go for a ride out to Box Hill on Sunday morning.  Leisurely pace, 60-80km (i guess 3-4hours) and a stop for tea (+cake?) at the Box Hill NT cafe. Leaving from the Lido car park at 9.15am. Let me know if you fancy joining. chee…

Hi Chloe Thanks for your interest. This sounds like a great suggestion and being able to use your expertise on a periodic basis would be a great addition to the club. You would still need to coach a certain amount every month (a requirement from Br…

Hi guys I see they have a novice entry.....with a 400m swim, at the risk of asking the obvious, what makes a novice? I had my first tri last weekend, and want to stick to sprint until I've gotten a lot faster. Max

I can do 9:30 no problem. There are plenty of cake / coffee / smoothie places to go to afterwards, in the park. Are we going for one lap or two or playing it by ear to see how knackered we are? (I'm thinking of the [echo voice] HILL OF DOOM[/echo v…

Hi Oliver, I would be very interested in doing this course. I'm a fully qualified Personal Trainer with Injury Rehab specialisation and I would love to be able to add Traithlon Coach to this qualification (be useful in session plans too - maybe I c…

Ok for me but for a 8AM start. I live in Herne Hill close to Dulwich and a few months ago I could not cycle to save my life. So that means I'll come by train. Safer. A 9.30am would suit me better, hopefully you too. There are nice places to go have…

Yeah, as Paul said it was a good ride, 5 hours and an average of 24.8km/h - not bad given the nasty head wind at times! Happy to do it again but I'm away for the next 2 weekends. Good suggestion by Paul to include Yorks Hill, just for a little more…

We had a great ride with James and his expert knowledge of seemly every backroute in Kent. My legs sadly decided to complain all the way about the pace and with every numerous hill I got dropped. Toys Hill is as much fun as the name suggests - Than…
